Why a natural sunscreen?

In the Baywatch days it may have been hip to have white stripes on your nose (really, it was once hip), but most people would rather look nice than look hip. And that is why the cosmetics industry invented chemical (synthetic) UV filters that, instead of reflecting UV rays on your skin, are absorbed into your skin, where they convert UV rays into heat. The problem of the white haze seemed to have been completely solved, until studies were conducted into the long-term effects of these chemical UV filters. Which showed that not all of them were so safe for your health, your hormones and the environment.

Waterproof without damaging the coral

The Loveli Sun cream is waterproof, so you are also protected in the water. But not only you are safe, so is the sea life. Because zinc oxide is seen by experts as the safest UV filter for coral and marine life. Especially because our zinc oxide is non-nano. Which means the molecules are too large to be absorbed by your skin and the coral.

SPF30

SPF 30 means that you can stay in the sun 30 times longer without burning than without sunscreen. If you normally burn after 10 minutes, then you are protected for 30 x 10 minutes with our SPF 30 Sun cream. So for 5 hours. But no matter how well protected you are, we still advise you to:

• Avoid the sun when it is at its strongest.
• It is best to keep babies and small children completely out of the sun.
• Do not go into the sun with sunburned skin.
• You have to reapply every few hours, because even the nicest UV filter wears out after a few hours.

Usage

• Do not apply too much at once to one area of ​​your skin and massage the cream well. So always apply small dabs of cream to your skin, rub it in thoroughly and massage it in. Do not apply large blobs at a time. This way you prevent a white cast and the cream spreads nicely.
• The Loveli Sun cream is also suitable for the little ones. It is best to keep babies and small children out of the sun.
• Apply good sunscreen before going into the sun and repeat every few hours. Avoid the bright midday sun. Too much sun is dangerous, even if you use sunscreen.
• Avoid contact with eyes and clothing.
• You can simply apply your make-up over the sun cream, but don’t forget that even the nicest UV filters only work for a few hours.

Good to know

• If you don’t apply too much to one spot at the same time and massage the cream in well, it will spread best in one area to avoid as much white haze as possible. Also make sure that your skin is well hydrated before applying the sunscreen, because this is the easiest way to spread the sunscreen.
• This sun cream is also suitable for the little ones.
• The Loveli Sun Cream is waterproof. However, it is wise to apply after you have dried off and/or been in the sea. You may actually write off the sunscreen. Also note that water on your skin strengthens the effect of UV radiation and burns even faster.
• Protects against both UVA and UVB radiation.
